New Leafs???Yes
The Toronto Maple Leafs went into Friday’s tilt against the New York Rangers undefeated at 3-0. Looks like GM Brian Burke’s overhaul worked. Fourteen players who opened last season with the Buds are not on this year’s roster — the team that started 0-7-1. One of the returnees, defenceman Mike Komisarek, said there’s a whole new atmosphere in Toronto. "The difference between last year and this year, we sort of hung on and dwelled on those losses last year and it sort of snowballed and we got ourselves into a huge hole and we couldn’t dig ourselves out," said Komisarek to NHL.com. "This year, even though it’s going the other way, I don’t think we’re sitting back and dwelling on our wins. We’re focused on our next game. Things are going well. Guys are loose and guys are confident. We believe in each other. But we’re not really sitting back and dwelling on our record because it’s a long year."

Well they did get some good D and a new goaltender. I am really happy for Jiggy since he left Anaheim on such a low note - being sent to the Leafs looks like it has worked out well for him.
right on good comments ,wish Js and all the Leafs well

sometimes teams have to 'start over' and get new faces on the roster and in the coaching staff, it can really help at times.
